The CSU Faculty Council unanimously approved a motion brought forth by the Committee on Teaching and Learning for a Student Bereavement Policy which was added to the 2023-2024 General Catalog. The purpose of the policy is to provide University excused time for students to deal with personal needs during the grieving process and attend any services in connection with a death.
